Sometimes the most meaningful beginning comes from honestly examining what we carry, what we have outgrown, and what we are finally ready to put down.
New Moon in Scorpio
November 8th, 2:02 PM EST
This New Moon in Scorpio falls at the tail end of October's retrogrades, which are still underway, except that Venus is now in Libra. At the start of November, we are still feeling the shift in Scorpio energy, which has brought deep emotional breakthroughs and helped us release suppressed parts of ourselves that disconnect us from our authentic selves. It hasn’t been comfortable, but it has been intense, as Scorpio likes to press down on what needs to be released and transformed, especially around deep-seated emotional patterns that no longer serve us. It is asking for release, prompting us to reflect on our relationships and how we share resources not just through money but through meaning, value, and self-worth. Now Venus is in Libra, a breath of fresh air that helps us balance and reassess, with discernment, where we are heading. And then there is Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, so these two personal planets are undergoing a purification if we are willing to participate, on whatever level we can.
Now, with a New Moon, we are invited to release and course-correct, setting a new intention as we move forward. So for this New Moon, I am suggesting that instead of pushing for immediate outward progress, focus on:
Tying up loose ends: Resolving lingering conversations or financial check-ins that came up over the last month.
Emotional audits: Getting honest about which habits or attachments are draining your energy.
Resting before the rush: Think of this as the quiet before the storm. Once Sagittarius season starts on November 22nd, the cosmic pace will accelerate rapidly.
What am I ready to release so I can move forward with greater clarity, intention, and authenticity?
